Job Description

The Vocational Coordinator plays an essential role in coordinating, developing, and facilitating processes, curriculum, and instruction vital to positive employment outcomes for current students.

This coordinator is responsible for facilitating numerous skills labs, providing direct holistic student support, developing employment sites, building and maintaining relationships with employers on and off campus providing supervision to the vocational team, provide direct on-site employment support, and supervise essential data collection on vocational goals and progress.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. The University will not sponsor applicants for this position for employment visas.

Shift

M-F. 8am-5pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, experience supporting individuals gaining competitive employment, experience supervising, and familiarity of community supports for people with disabilities.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $20.00- $21.00 per hour
