JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing offers a unique opportunity for a project support person with critical skills in proposal preparation and review. This individual will be able to support cutting-edge research ideas.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized, learn and navigate new research quickly, and enjoy taking on new challenges. Familiarity with or experience working in research settings, including clinical research and human subjects' protocols, is highly preferred. The position typically requires a PhD plus several years of related experience with research awards.

Applications will be reviewed until a suitable candidate is identified. Candidates must upload a cover letter and resume or CV. This position will pay ~$75-$100 per hour, depending on skill level. Employees are expected to work remotely.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
