Henry Ford Health is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Athletic Trainer to support our student athletes at Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. About Spring Arbor University:

Spring Arbor University (SAU), established in 1873, located in Spring Arbor, Michigan. SAU is a member of the National Association of Inter-Collegiate Athletics (NAIA) and affiliated with the Crossroads League Athletic Conference. With an enrollment of over 2,000 students, the Spring Arbor Cougars fields 18 intercollegiate varsity sports and several JV teams with plans to expand. The AT in this position will collaborate daily with the 2 other SAU athletic trainers for their sport assignment(s). They will serve as a liaison for the SAU athletic department to Henry Ford Health. The athletic trainer will provide full time athletic training services at SAU; however, additional hours outside of the school for Henry Ford Health may be assigned.

What You'll Do:

• Offer full time athletic training services to our athletes at Spring Arbor University. You will be the primary athletic trainer for one team each season as determined by the university, with opportunities to assist additional teams.
• Be the liaison between Henry Ford Health and Spring Arbor University to help coordinate various appointments within the health system and seamless care.
• Collaborate with assigned Henry Ford Health team physician(s) and various healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
• Play a hands-on role in helping patients reach their peak performance by delivering individualized care for both injuries and overall health & wellness.
• Educate on best practices for maintaining health and promote long-term wellness.
• Expand your skills by offering services beyond the school, including assisting in physician clinics, community outreach, and engagement events.
