How you can make a difference

The Implementation Manager III, with minimal direction and significant latitude for independent judgement and discretion, this position oversees all aspects of the enterprise client implementation process from initiation to transition. The person will work to ensure a positive client experience during implementation. Implementation assignments include all product offerings across platforms with a focus on large and complex clients that require valuable consulting services. The Implementation Manager III work collaboratively with internal and external customers to deliver quality projects within the specified timeline and scope defined. This position requires mentoring peers and engaging in special projects as assigned by leadership.

What you'll be doing

    Identify client nuances, plan requirements, and contractual commitments to create non-standard solutions.
  • Implementation manager is responsible for coordinating and planning with all levels of internal and external customers including cross-functional teams, clients, Third Party Administrators, brokers, and external partners.
  • Support the Sales process with Client RFP responses, pre finalist support and represent HealthEquity services and products on finalist meetings.
  • Lead client advocate throughout the implementation while maintaining project management standard methodologies to keep leadership and key partners informed of progress, risk assessments and executive summaries, as appropriate. Proactively identify factors jeopardizing the project and leverage internal resources, and client contacts to assess and mitigate further issues before looping in internal leadership.
  • Develop unique project specifications and objectives from initiation to delivery for our enterprise and complex implementations with standard and non-standard solutions for both new and existing clients.
  • Own the discussion through a consultative approach and suggest solutions with key partners for standard and customized plan design. Collaborate with clients and/or cross-functional teams to produce functional specifications, design documents, and other blueprints for the project. Define scope of efforts required to meet objectives and create comprehensive project timelines. This includes analyzing, reviewing, and forecasting project expenditures and mitigating scope creep.
  • Responsible to drive project team and partners down the critical path by preparing and regularly maintaining project plans after aligning on necessary project steps, activities, the sequence of events, critical success paths, dependencies, and the duration of tasks with all partners.
  • Identify and acquire appropriate resource needs, ensuring availability to support and complete project deliverables. Manage resources within respective departments, other internal departments, outside service providers as well as materials committed to the projects. This may include collaboration with functional department managers to assemble project teams.
  • Identify, assign, and align on project responsibilities ensuring that activity, integration, and productivity are employed in the most efficient manner while still meeting project targets.   • Perform various implementation tasks including plan requirement completion, business and technical data gathering, complete system configuration, communications strategy consultation and materials delivery, and web-based system demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Lead cross-functional and departmental initiatives centered on improving the implementation process, innovation, and growth.

What you will need to be successful

  • 8 years of client service experience; benefits industry
  • 5 years of experience with special projects, possesses project management skills and effective project tracking
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Direct client facing and implementation/project management delivery experience
  • Always maintains a professional composure
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress and high-demand environment especially during peak times
  • Multi-tasking ability with an attention to detail
  • Capable to develop and maintain strong relationships
  • Passionate and dynamic about making a difference for our clients in their health plans
  • Adept at learning new products and services to deliver remarkable results consistently
  • Ability to transition quickly to new responsibilities and changes in process
  • Active listener, ability to ask probing questions and capable of influencing
  • Effective in written and verbal communications, able to offer professional coaching to our clients on effective use of our online tools
  • Capable to work independently, self-motivated and organized and can problem-solve complex problems
  • Prioritizes to accomplish work in a timely and successful manner

Salary Range

$70000.00 To $104500.00 / year

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location.
